Legal · Draft for review

Privacy policy.

This draft describes how the software works today. It must be reviewed by the operator's legal adviser before launch.

What we collect from account holders

Your name, email address, a securely hashed password (or your Google account identifier if you sign in with Google), the content you add to your page, and billing status from our payment provider. We never see or store full card numbers.

What we collect from visitors

When someone views a page or clicks a link we record the time, the page or link, a device category (mobile, tablet or desktop), and the referring website if the browser sends one. We do not store IP addresses. To count unique visitors we keep a one-way hash of the IP address and browser that changes every day, so a visitor cannot be followed from one day to the next. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising pixels.

Forms on pages

If a page owner turns on a contact form or newsletter signup, what you submit is stored for that page owner, who is responsible for how they use it. Newsletter signups require an explicit consent checkbox.

Cookies

We use one essential session cookie to keep you signed in and protect forms against cross-site attacks.

Your rights

You can edit your data in Settings, export your analytics and audience as CSV, and delete your account at any time, which removes your pages, links, analytics and form entries. Contact info@dealtrust.io for any request.
